About

Jan builds the JotLayer extensions: JotLayer for drawing on Notion pages, SidePDF for writing in the margins of PDFs, JotLog for filing what you read into Notion, and a YouTube picture-in-picture extension. All four are published on the Chrome Web Store and do their work in the browser.

The common thread

Every one of these adds something to a page you were already looking at, rather than asking you to move your work somewhere else. They run in the browser, and the ones that handle your documents do that work on your own machine rather than on a server.
