Welcome to JotLog. By installing and using the JotLog Chrome Extension ("Extension"), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Extension.

1. Description of Service

JotLog is a browser extension designed to track screen time, block distracting websites, and synchronize summarized productivity statistics to a user's Notion workspace. The Extension is provided "as is" and "as available."

2. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using JotLog, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy.

3. License to Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use JotLog for your personal and non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

4. User Responsibilities

  • Notion Account: You must have a valid Notion account to use the syncing features of the Extension. You are responsible for complying with Notion's Terms of Service.
  • Lawful Use: You agree not to use the Extension for any unlawful or prohibited activities.
  • Data Accuracy: While we strive to provide accurate screen time tracking, we do not guarantee the absolute precision of the data collected or synced.

5. Third-Party Services Integration

JotLog integrates with Notion via its API. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Notion Labs, Inc. Your use of Notion is governed by Notion's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for any issues, data loss, or service interruptions that occur on Notion's platform.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design features, architecture, and code of the JotLog Extension are the intellectual property of its creators. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Extension or included software without prior written consent.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Extension is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the Extension. We do not warrant that the Extension will be error-free or uninterrupted.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use or inability to use the Extension.

9. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Extension (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Extension.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Extension immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Extension will immediately cease.

11. Custom Configurations

The Extension allows users to set custom website blocking rules and categories. We are not responsible for your inability to access websites you have voluntarily blocked using the Extension.
